Upcomming Training - Irb Driver/crew

If anyone is interested in learning to drive or crew the Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB), there is a course running on the 6th-7th October. You must be a surf club member and hold a current bronze medallion as a pre-requisite so if you don't already have this award and are interested for the future, let us know and we might be able to slot you into a course for that instead ;-)

Annual Report 2011-12

Well its almost that time when the beach season kicks off again for another year but before we move on, we have some business to deal with - the AGM, electing our club representatives for the upcomming season and reviewing the annual report for the past. The AGM is comming up this weekend (members should have received their notification by snail mail) followed by a BBQ and Open Day at the club house (open to anybody! Bring your family and friends).

Twilight Nippers And Rookies Presentation

We will be presenting Coledale Nippers and Rookies with their trophies at our final Nippers day on Saturday the 17th March 2012. The presentation will start at 2pm followed by a BBQ and Jumping Castle. Please bring a plate of food to share around (see the flyer)

Construction Of New Camp Ground Office/residence

Construction has started on the new camp ground office and caretakers residence. Because of that we have temporarily moved the office into the surf club making things a little more squashy than normal.

If anyone has any photos of the work progressing and you would like to share them, feel free to send them to us or post them up on Facebook.

Trivia Night - 3rd March

When: Starts at 6:30pm, 3rd March 2012

Where: Coledale Surf Club

Cost: $15 donation per adult (support our Rookies)

Dress: Wear a crazy hat

Organise a table of 8-10 people. BYO drinks and book a camp site if you wont be able to drive home.
